OUR MISSION
Empowering African women through a harmonious blend of practical skills and profound spirituality, Together with Grace is dedicated to fostering self-sufficiency and dignity. Grounded in biblical principles, our mission is to nurture the God-given talents within each woman, creating a transformative environment where every individual is valued. Through teaching sewing skills, business training, and the daily infusion of biblical principles, we stitch together a future where empowerment and faith intertwine to create lasting impact.
OUR HISTORY
Together with Grace is a non-profit organization established in November 2023 to support the Hands of Grace Ministry in Libreville, Gabon, Africa.
While the organization is new, the founders, Tim and Vicki Quellhorst, have been involved and have supported Hands of Grace for the past 11 years. Vicki was called by God to this ministry in June 2013, and is well known in Libreville as she has come to the center 12 times to teach all levels of sewing to the ladies within the center. She has also had an integral part in the business training there. On some of these visits, she was leading a team of trainers. She prepares the trainers ahead of time with choosing a project and making sure that all supplies are gathered for the project being taught. She continues to advance their skill levels.
Tim has also visited Libreville, Gabon 4 times, not only to help at the sewing center with sewing machine and other repairs, but also to help with local outreach ministries. Additionally, they have welcomed their Gabonese friends into their home in the United States on numerous occasions. Their commitment to the ladies at Hands of Grace and the broader Gabonese community has been and will continue to be unwavering.
